The Digital Game Industries of the Baltic Sea Region: A SWOT Analysis
The Baltic Sea region presents a diversified picture when it comes to its game industries, from mature highly successful businesses and internationally renowned hotspots to promising and fast-growing emerging economy sectors. With the new appreciation of the importance of the game sector, regional authorities use the Interreg BSR project Baltic Game Industry led by BGZ Berlin International Cooperation Agency GmbH as a forum to help identify potential areas for improvement of the regional framework conditions. First results of a SWOT analysis are outlined in the underlying interactive map. Mood barometers reflect the assessment of regional game experts.
